Position:   Sales Executive ( Shipping & Freight Forwarding)

With a major focus on growing our Australian presence, a new opportunity has arisen for Sales Executives to join the team in Melbourne.

Reporting to the CEO, the successful applicant will be responsible for developing new business opportunities to meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and implementing sales strategies to achieve sales budget
  • Manage implementation of new clients to operations and customer service
  • Develop pricing, service and strategies
  • Generate new business opportunities
  • Arrange meetings with prospective clients & manage a healthy pipeline
  • Manage your clients end-to-end and be the point of contact for all their needs

To be considered for this role:

  • Business, international trade or relevant qualification
  • Minimum 3 years sales experience within a similar sales role and industry
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and within time frames
  • Import and export experience is highly desirable

Position Success Measures

  • Builds a solid portfolio of clients over the initial 12 months toward a minimum of $1.5M annual sales budget.
  • Ensure prospect and opportunity pipelines have sufficient revenue to drive an actual outcome that shows at least 2.5 times individual cost

  • Close working relationship with Founder and CEO
  • Ability to interact with international sister companies in the Middle & Far East for support and alliance opportunities
  • Clear, concise communication skills to unambiguously arrange great shipment deals for customers
  • Ability to deliver on the promised sales and logistics expectations
